Summary

This app reminds you to take your medicines and records what you took and when. It is not a medical device and it does not give medical advice — it has no drug database, offers no dosage guidance, and checks nothing for interactions. It reminds you, and it writes down what you tell it.

What you type about your health never leaves your phone. There is no account, no sign-up, no cloud, and no server of ours anywhere. We cannot see your medicines, your schedule or your dose history, and we could not hand them to anyone if we were asked, because we never receive them.

The only data that leaves your device is what Google AdMob needs to show ads, and nothing about your medicines is part of that.

Health data stays on your device

This is the part that matters most in an app like this, so it is stated plainly.

The following is created and kept locally, in a database only this app can read, and never leaves your device unless you export it yourself:

• Medicines: the name you typed, the dose amount and unit, the form (tablet, capsule, liquid, injection, other), an optional note, a colour
• Schedules: the times of day, and whether it repeats every day, on certain weekdays, or every N days, with an optional start and end date
• Dose history: for each scheduled dose, whether you marked it taken, skipped or snoozed, and when
• Supply counts: how many you have left, if you turn that on
• App preferences: theme, snooze length, and when the rewarded ad-free window runs out

We hold no copy of any of it. There is no analytics SDK in this app, no crash reporter of our own, and no telemetry. Nothing you type about your health is transmitted anywhere, and none of it is used for advertising.

The app also opts out of Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer (allowBackup="false"), so your medicines and dose history are not copied into Google’s backup service either.

Consequence, stated honestly: because the data exists only on your phone, we cannot recover it if you lose the device. Use Settings → Your data → Export a backup and keep the file somewhere safe.

Notifications and alarms

Reminders are generated entirely on your device from the schedules you entered. Nothing is sent to a server to make a reminder happen, and no reminder content leaves the phone.

A dose notification shows the medicine name on your lock screen only if your own Android notification settings allow it; the app marks these notifications private, so a locked screen shows a neutral placeholder unless you have chosen to show sensitive content.

Third-party services we use

Google AdMob (ads)

The app is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. Ads are the only reason the app needs an internet connection at all; every reminder, log and history feature works fully offline.

The app shows no banner ads and never shows an ad on a reminder, on a notification, or on the Today screen. What it shows is an occasional full-screen ad between ordinary actions elsewhere in the app, and an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch to switch ads off for 24 hours.

To serve ads, Google receives data from your device, which may include your device’s advertising identifier (AD_ID), coarse location inferred from your IP address, device and app information, and ad-interaction data. It does not receive your medicines, your schedule or your dose history — the app never sends those anywhere, and no ad targeting in this app is based on health data. Google’s processing is done as an independent controller under its own policies:

Consent (UMP)

Where required by law, the app shows Google’s User Messaging Platform consent form before ads are initialised, and records your choice. In the EEA and the UK you are asked about personalised advertising; in covered US states you are offered the opt-out required there. You can change your decision at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options, and if you decline, every reminder and logging feature continues to work exactly as before.

Data we collect ourselves

None. We operate no servers, no accounts and no analytics. We have no database with your name in it and no way to identify you or your device. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.

Permissions the app requests

• Notifications — without it the app cannot remind you at all. It is asked for only when you choose to enable reminders, and the app says plainly on its main screen when the permission is missing.
• Alarms and reminders (exact alarms) — so a dose reminder arrives at the time you set rather than whenever the system finds convenient. If this is not granted, the app still reminds you, but late, and it tells you so on screen with a link to the setting.
• Run at startup — so the reminders you have already set survive a restart. Nothing else runs in the background.
• Internet / network state — solely so the Google Mobile Ads SDK can fetch ads. Turning off Wi-Fi and mobile data means no ads load; every other feature still works.
• Advertising ID (AD_ID) — required by Google Play for apps that serve ads; used by AdMob as described above.

The app requests no camera, no storage, no contacts, no location, and no health-platform access. It does not read or write Health Connect.

Children

This app is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — as described above, we hold no personal data at all.

Your choices

• Ad personalisation: change your consent decision any time via Settings → Ad privacy options.
• Reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in Android’s own settings, under Settings → Google → Ads.
• Export your data any time via Settings → Your data → Export a backup.
• Delete your data by deleting medicines in the app, or by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it. Because the data lives only on your device, that removes it completely and irreversibly — there is no copy anywhere else, and no deletion request to send us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the Last updated date above and publish the new version at this URL. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes on Google Play. This policy is versioned publicly in the Dash Fusion privacy repository, so any change is visible in its history.
